Delivery

Shipping

I aim to ship all In the Shop orders within two to three days. Estimated delivery times should be used as a guide only and commence from the day of dispatch. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

UK delivery

Complimentary delivery on all orders.

Orders for In the Shop Bags are dispatched within 2 business days and are normally delivered the next business day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Someone will need to be available to sign for your order, otherwise it will be kept by the courier so that you can rearrange delivery.

International delivery

Delivery within Europe (excluding UK) costs £20.


Delivery to Rest of The World costs £30-50 depending on bag size and is subject to duties and taxes, see below.


Orders for delivery to Europe or the U.S.A. will take five to seven business days; deliveries to other international countries will take up to seven business days.

Bespoke delivery

Bespoke delivery times are determined after a consultation and are dependent on the workshop schedule. An approximate timescale would be three to four weeks.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking code, so that you can monitor your delivery until it arrives with you.

Taxes & duties

Any taxes and duties due in Non EU countries are payable by the customer. Local taxes and duties are payable on arrival.  Shipments to the U.S. are accompanied by a tariff classification and duty rate of 7.2% ad valorem.

Returns

If you decide not to keep an item you ordered online, you can return it for a refund within 14 days of delivery. Please email me at info@bernadettesbags.com to request a Return Merchant Authorisation (RMA) number as you will need to include this with your return. Please make sure the item you are returning is in perfect condition. Please note returns on bespoke products can only be accepted if they are faulty or were damaged upon arrival. You are responsible for your item until I receive it, so I recommend that you use a trusted recorded delivery service. If you would like to exchange an item in your order, please return your original item and place a new order online. This policy does not affect your UK Statutory Rights.

Repairs

I offer a complimentary repair service for 12 months after purchase, and up to 24 months after purchase for an agreed quote. If you have an item that requires a repair, then please email info@bernadettesbags.com including detailed images of the damaged area and a valid proof of purchase. I will then assess the item and advise you on how to proceed. Please note that shipping costs incurred when sending your item to our repairs workshop are not covered. Repairs can take six to eight weeks, but I will try my best to get your products back to you as soon as possible.
