3 Choirs Festival is an annual event celebrating the finest choral music. Held each July for the past 300 years, the Festival rotates between the three Cathedrals of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford. Worcester will host this prestigious event in 2024 and the Herefordshire Guild will be continuing their association by exhibiting their skilfully created work in the Festival Village throughout this eight day festival.

Christmas Fayre at Hay Castle

Renowned for its annual book festival and the specialist book shops, Hay on Wye will host over 100 stands throughout the streets, halls and market square creating a magical Christmas shopping extravaganza on Saturday 9th December.

Hay Castle will be joining the event with a Christmas Fayre in the Grand Hall with beautiful Handmade gifts by local designer makers.

Bernadette will bring her evening bags in luscious velvets along with a selection of Crossbody and Travel bags in tapestry and velvets.

TWELVE - Contemporary U.K. Makers Exhibition

An exhibition by twelve contemporary U.K. makers curated by Sara Bowie, office and retail manager at the recently restored Hay Castle.

Sara has a wealth of experience in successful arts management, from arts centers to the general management of Hay Festival, as well as her own independent gallery, which was recognized as a Centre of Excellence by the Crafts Council.

Towering over beautiful Hay home of the world’s biggest book festival, the Castle is free to wander the various levels incorporating the bones of the the old with new brilliantly.

The cafe produces a simple but delicious menu along with home made cakes, the shop sells an eclectic mix of books and gifts but a must see area is the dungeon where a 3 minute film will entertain and inform the history of this extraordinary building.

Bernadette will be selling her latest collection in the Guilds of Craftsmen’s marquee in the Festival Village on Cathedral Green, alongside nineteen highly skilled designer makers in a variety of media, throughout this prestigious event.

The full programme for this year's festival is now available and features over a thousand performers across 77 events. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from major choral and orchestral events in Worcester’s majestic cathedral, to chamber music, late night events, fun-filled family shows, sung cathedral services, fascinating talks and al fresco theatre, walks and excursions.

At the heart of the headline concert series, a stellar line-up of soloists will join the festival’s own chorus, the three cathedral choirs of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester, and orchestra-in-residence, the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Relax in between events, soak up the festival atmosphere with refreshments from the Festival bar and cafe and enjoy free, live entertainment on the community bandstand.
